Cassiobury fireworks
Join us in Cassiobury Park on Saturday 4 November at Hertfordshire's largest FREE fireworks display organised by Watford Borough Council.
Frontier Fireworks are set to blaze fireworks across the night sky once again with a completely new design of show .
This amazing spectacle just gets better every year. The display is going reach heights of up to 850 feet in the night sky whilst wide flanks of cakes are going to fill the sky with every kind of colour possible .
"Special effects to look out for are our long burning golden willows that have multicolour stars at the end of each strand of golden star, silver swimming stars that race across the sky, bright colour crossettes that split and dart in different directions and a huge audience favourite....we are bringing our special Double Dragon Eggs shells and cakes back to Watford that fill the sky with crackling tumbling stars that look stunning.
To take your breath away this year, we are going to race through hundreds of shots combined with shells for our pre finale before unleashing a special Frontier Fireworks finale of red strobe stars and golden brocade stars that will look simply stunning in the park. We hope to see you all in Watford for a glittering night out"
Vibe 107.6FM will be keeping the crowds entertained on stage from 6pm with music and competitions and also introducing live performances with the spectacular fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.
There are a variety of food and drink outlets, kiddies funfair rides, bungee trampolines and a bouncy slide to keep everyone well fed and entertained before the main display.
Watford Lions Club and other collectors will be shaking their buckets raising money for charity so do please give generously! 100% of donations go to local charities. If you can't make the event or couldn't find the collectors on the night, you can donate on our dedicated JustGiving page.
There is NO PARKING in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis. There are parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7am to 11pm, so you are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.
