The Sound of Watford was born out of how Watford does Record Store Day. 

Lead by the LP cafe and West Herts College, with support from Watford Borough Council, the day sees home grown bands alongside some more major national bands come to Watford to celebrate music and grassroots venues. 

This year it falls on Saturday 20 April 2024. 
Musicians, bands and experimental sound acts are all invited to join for free.
